What is an intentional life?
For me, living an intentional life means that I make choices based on my values and core beliefs. I choose what feels right to me, for me. I consciously tune out the outside chatter and listen to my heart and that little voice that whispers ever so quietly.
When I can do that, I find that I make choices that delight me and make my heart sing. I find that I go through my day with anticipation and eagerness rather than dread and gloom.
It’s not always easy to choose to live an intentional life. There are so many things trying to grab our attention, to influence our decisions. Think about the commercials on television and radio telling you to buy this or do that, the ones that pop up uninvited on our computer screens. Think about your parents or teachers or friends, all sharing their particular view on things, nudging you to go along with their way of living.
Sometimes, it can be difficult to figure out what you really want.
And that’s where I can help.
I can help you determine what matters most to you. Think about these questions:
How do you want to spend your time?
Where do you want to live?
What do you value, what do you hold dear?
What do you want your life to look like?
Can you honestly and emphatically answer these questions? If so, then congratulations! You’re living an intentional life. If not, then I can help you find your answers. I can help you clear away the clutter and noise so you can tune into what it is you want most from this one precious life. And then I help you figure out how to get it.
Here’s to living intentionally; let me know when you’re ready to start.
